Business Development Coordinator
Job Description
The primary role of the Business Development Position is to prospect for new clients using a variety of methods to generate interest.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Lead Generation
- Research and identify potential clients and the relevant decision makers within the client organization.
- Prospect and generate qualified leads within target market to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with PEI. Work with team to develop approaches that speak to the client’s needs, concerns and objectives.
- Develop rapport and build relationships with potential clients using a variety of outreach methods (cold call, phone calls, social media, emails, personal visits, entertainment/meals, etc.).
- Set up and participate in meetings between client decision makers and PEI’s Principals.
- Participate in relevant conferences, association meetings, industry functions, networking/leads exchange events to generate leads and establish awareness of PEI’s presence
- Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in revenue.
- Work in conjunction with and in support of current marketing efforts.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for PEI, adhering to PEI branding messaging points and reflecting PEI’s values and overall brand in the marketplace
Client Relations
- Initiate and plan relationship-building activities with clients/prospects such as Golf, Clay Shooting, Happy Hour, Bowling, Go Cart Racing, and other relevant activities.
- Grow and retain existing accounts by nurturing relationships and presenting new solutions and services to clients
General
- Track and record client/prospect activity.
- Research and develop a thorough understanding of PEI’s staff, solutions/services, competitors and how PEI can compete effectively against competitors.
