HVAC&R Manufacturers Optimistic About Prospects for 2015
WESTPORT, Conn.—There is growing optimism for improving economic prospects for the HVAC&R industry in 2015, according to a recent ASHRAE Journal and AHR Expo survey. Eighty-seven percent of respondents said their prospects for business are either “excellent” or “good” for the coming year. “New Construction” was cited most often as the industry category where HVAC&R manufacturers see the best prospects for business. “Hospitals/Healthcare” ranked first as the most promising market segment, while “Light Commercial” was second. The survey was sent to more than 1,000 HVAC&R manufacturers worldwide.
